The Freeflow Foundation is a non-profit that works to make the deeply meaningful, academically rigorous, and creatively stimulating field-based programs of Freeflow Institute available to all.
By supporting the students of Freeflow Institute, we hope to elevate and activate the voices of the next generation of creative conservation leaders.

We imagine a world in which all people have an opportunity to build skills, grow connections and experience creative freedom in wild places.
PROBLEM + SOLUTION
With constant threats to our climate, ecosystems and wild rivers – as well as to our social systems and communities – we see a need for a new way of addressing conservation.
And it all has to do with the voices we listen to – and stories we tell.
We acknowledge that stories heard in the conservation fields, creative circles and outdoor spaces often exclude marginalized voices. In order to foster healing and create systemic change, we need to share, celebrate and uplift all voices.
Freeflow Institute and The Freeflow Foundation create programs that encourage conversation around environmental issues, unjust social systems and the power of storytelling to create change.
